Many of the “outdated” technologies in art, fashion and music have been revived in contemporary culture for their retro and nostalgic qualities. The exploration of my integrated media work commonly reflect the altered perceptions of the analogue and the digital to question our culture as a regressive or a progressive one. As a stating point, I gather inspiration from my wide interest in pop art, electronic music, antiques, and analyzing internet trends - bringing attention to the relationship collage, reproduction and remixing have over the media, copyright regimes, and consumer culture.
